Australia Zoo is halfway between Noosa and home. We’ve driven past it many times. Today we stopped there. CAUTION OPHIDOIPHOBES ! SNAKE PICTURE!

No matter how jealous you are.

It’s a matter of perspective. We see majestic wild animals, graceful on the water and in the air. The locals see precision bombers.

Spring is the best time of year at the Botanic Gardens. Then it got hot, so we came home.

It’s spring. Today was 38°C. The jacarandas are in full bloom. We’re intrigued -not to say perturbed- about what temperatures summer will bring.

Heading for the Whitsundays. Sometimes, it’s hard to believe that we live here.
