Christmas dinner in the courtyard this evening. For reasons that elude me entirely, we have been tasked with providing astronomy-themed mini-burgers. Saturn burgers  with rings and Jupiter burgers with Great Red Spots. Why are we doing this again?

The emotions vary in inverse proportion to the stakes involved. We spent twenty minutes discussing a $40 expense. So I took some pictures.

Because I need another picture in the top post of my blog. That is all.

Actually feeling great. Not sure I’m forming memories yet. Mouth full of cotton wadding. And here are the culprits:

Gentle rain on a cool day. It was 34° yesterday. 20 today. A lovely peaceful – if somewhat most – afternoon. And there’s 6.4 liters of beer in the fridge at home.
