Just goanna for a walk

A lace monitor out for a gentle midday stroll at Enoggera Lake.

This was the second full-grown goanna we’d seen today. The first one snoopled into the forest when it saw us.

Have not goosed the saturation even a little bit.

Ok, maybe a tiny boost on the last one.

No idea why I didn’t post this on the night. Saturn emerges from occultation. 8mm eyepiece is the difference.
